For Akram, being a cinematographer was born out of his desire to capture the light and shadows of his daily life. Touching the camera at the age of 11, he quickly discovered a powerful way to not only capture moments but to craft stories.
Recently graduated from ESAV Film School in Marrakesh, he worked as a cinematographer on Music videos documentaries, and shortfilms, one of which made it’s debut in REDSEA24 film festival and won Best photography award at the “FIFF Namur 39e” and jury prize at “Tangier film festival 24”.
With an eye for details and a heart committed to meaningful storytelling, Akram continues to push boundaries, constantly evolving as an artist and finding new ways to tell stories.
Finding good lighting is his hobby. Finding perfectly diffused lighting is his passion.
